Summary: This article is about Taiwanian pro-activists who trapped a Chinese envoy, Chen Yunlin, inside of a hotel. Chen was in Taiwan because of a government banquet in his honour. In the police scuffles that occurred outside the banquet, at least one policeman was injured. Taiwan's ruling Kuomintag blamed the prosecutions and movements on the Democratic Progressive Party. The government has placed 7,000 police officers to ensure the safety of Chen, and he did safely return to his hotel at 2:30am that night.
Analysis: I highly think that these kinds of stupid prosecutions keep the world from moving forward to peace. Just because there is a difference of opinion between two or more people (or countries) does not mean that anybody has the right to threaten the safety of another.
Prediction: I think that Chen will be safe and return home as soon as possible from these hostile surroundings, and the Taiwanian pro-activists will not be happy any way that this turns out.

This article discusses the presidential election. America strayed away from the norm and elected a young African-American coming from a single-parent family. Obama won in a landslide victory on Tuesday night. Over forty percent of the people who voted for Barrack were not white. The article says that Barrack Obama has high standards set for him in this historic presidential election.
I think America is definitely expecting our 44th president to rebuild our country. I believe that we expect A LOT from Obama and have put a lot of faith in him. I think that it is going to be difficult for Barrack to deal with racism. However, he must fulfill the promises he made on Iraq, global warming, health care, and dealing with the economic recession.
I predict that even though Obama is very young, he will be very wise. We have being seeing portions of his wisdom on the campaign trail. I think he will fulfill most of his promises, and please many Americans. I predict he will be a great president.

This article is about the world reaction to the recent predisdential election. The world as a whole is elated at the fact that Barack Obama has been elected because they did not approve of the recent Bush administration. Everyone is relieved at the outcome because this campaign has been going on for well over two years.
I think that the world believes that America elected the right president. With the atrocity that was the Bush administration, I believe that the world was ready for what Obama tagged as "Change". Personally, I believe that McCain was a better cantidate because his policies and views paralleled my ideals. However, I think Obama is a respectable man and is capable of leading our nation.
My prediction for this situation is that the hype caused by Obama will slowly die off and when he takes office in February, there will be a whole new rush of excitement. America voted, therefore America will expect everything that Obama promised them during his campaign.

This article is about Qassams slam into south after IDF hits Gaza. The problem between Israel and Palestinian militants was violated yesterday. The Israel Defense Forces troops attacked the Gaza strip, leaving six hamas militants dead. There was a rocket in central Ashkelon, thought no injuries or damages to the property. This was the heaviest since Israel and hamas came into effect. The IDF said that Hamas militants planned to use the tunnel to abduct an Israeli soldier. The IDF said it was to early to determine whether the violence will lead to a large-scale breakdown.
I thought that this article is very vivid. It really tells the reader what the problem was about. It shows how one country can hate one another. This is a really big problem that they need to figure out as adults and not like little babies at a preschool.
I think that this article will turn out very bad. If they don’t solve there anger between each other, then there will be a really bad war. It is just like here, if we just back down and not explain why we did, then the other country will invade you. That is why you need to discus the problem with that country. I don’t like violence, but sometimes it has to be done.

In this article the IDF targeted a rocket squad in NORTHEN GAZA JEBALIYA. Palestinian security forces informed that two airstrikes occured in Israel. Fourty rockets were fired from Gaza into southern israel on tuesday night on that following day, four people were killed because of the airstrikes reports/rocket fire. Before the chaos occured, between Hamas militants and israel defenced forces killed non-militants and three injured three people. all this happend during night time according to palestine. IDF said it came from Palestinian forces report.
I feel that all chaos was another misleading war or a random fight agianst hama militants and israel defence forces. The IDF and their palestinian security sources are some what getting into other peoples conflicts, Etc.
Knowing that innocent people are dying be cause of airstrikes, it should not be tolerated; for inadequet corruptions.
I think more innocent people are ggoing to die be cause of more conflicts between countries and etc.Obviously these people dont realize how their promblem could affect the international community.

Summary: In this article i learned that the Afghan President Hamid Karzai said his first demand of the new U.S. government was "no civilian casualties in Afghanistan." He spoke saying that too many of his civilians were being killed including many women and children. It was said that during this conference he congratulated Obama on his win but he also stressed the importance that he doesnt want anymore civilian killings.
Analysis: I feel that we should try everything we can to ensure that no more innocent victims are killed especially the children, who are a victim of this cruel slayings. I feel that we need to ensure the President that we are doing all we can to help these actions be stopped and no more poeple are killed.
Prediction: I predict that we should stop killing innocent people and ensure the President that we are ceasing those actions. SOme of these actions included 35 innocent poeple being killed. they need to stop these actions.

This article is about the recent plane crash in Mexico that killed the interior minister and an official who had been fighting the drug cartels for a very long time. The crash killed everybody on the jet and 5 people on the ground. Many Mexicans believe that the crash could have been caused by sabotage, but the government denies it. The goevrnment says that the crash was really caused by the jet spinning out of control sudeenly. Investigators from the United States and Britain are going to help clarify the cause of the crash.
I believe that it is unfortunate that so many have perished but i think that it was just an accident. Radar was shown to indicate that the plane wasnt sabotaged.
I predict that the accident will be clarified in more technical terms but i still believe that people will think that something else caused the accident.

This article was about the presidential election. Barrack Obama won against the republican opponent, John McCain. Obama won by a landslide, and is promising change in America. He gave a speech in Chicago, and is our first African American president and our 44th president.
I think America is expecting Obama to do what he said and have changes in our country. America is expecting many changes to happen with Obama elected as president, such as what he said he was going to do with the war in Iraq, health care, and the economy. I think we elected the right president to run America.
My prediction is that Obama will be a great president and will for fill with all the changes he promised America. When he takes office in February, we will expect a lot from him. I feel he is the right president and is going to be a great one (:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/africa/11/05/kenya.reaction/index.htmlCitation = 5 pts
This article is about Kenya's reaction to Obama's presidential win. Celebrations rose up in a town in Kenya named Kogelo due to Obama's win against McCain. The biggest party was in Obama's grandmothers house where she did a little victory dance. Obama's grandmother, Sarah Obama, plans to visit him with the threat that she might die of happiness so she states. The villages slaughtered a boar in celebration. Kenya declared Thursday as a public holiday to celebrate the win. Kenya was transformed by the man's win. Obama had visited the village 2 times, in 1987 and in 2006.
I thought that the article was very descriptive. I think that the election of Obama certainly helped the Kenyans. I think that this event was a very happy event and I think that Kenya came to understand that America is a land of opportunity.
I think that the when Obama visits the town, there will be a major celebration, the grandmother will be very happy and I think that the election will help the well being of the continent.

This article is about North Korea and the United States. North Korea restarts dismantling their nuclear facilities because the United States (President Bush) has promised to take North Korea’s name off the State Sponsored Terrorism list. The United Nations peacekeeping troops are now granted authorization over North Korea’s nuclear factories and can continue surveillance over the progress.
I think this is a great thing to happen for the safety of the world. However from this article, I believe that North Korea would rather be known as a country that has nuclear weapons rather than a country that encourages state sponsored terrorism. This could be a good thing because it shows the world that North Korea believes in change and wants security for the world. It could be bad because North Korea can now somewhat get away with state sponsored terrorism. This event also creates more strength in the relationship between North Korea and the USA because the US was the country that chose to take this country of the blacklist and the US went in North Korea’s favor.
My prediction is that North Korea will keep dismantling their nuclear facilities but still find some way to keep their weapons in a secret place. The relationship between North Korea and the United States will get better hopefully but they will both definitely argue over some issue. Eventually the UN will have to take action in Pyongyang if the nuclear facilities do not dismantle fast enough.

Summary:
This article is about a bomb that went off in Baghdad at a bus station that killed 15 people. Rates show that there is an average of four attacks a day in Baghdad. "Down nearly 90 percent levels of late 2006 when Shiite Sunni fighting was at its high point." This occurred on Tuesday in Mosul, after another attack of bombs that killed 10 people and wounding 40 more. There was another bomb hidden under a car had blown up at a bus depot in a Shiite neighborhood killing 11 people and 21 were wounded. Then, there was a bombing where four people were killed and eight were wounded near a market. This was a roadside bombing.
Analysis:
From what I have read, bombing is a usual thing in Baghdad. This is obviously not something that should be supported. It has become TOO common and it is killing people every day. Imagine, that all these killings isn't as severe as it was just a few years ago. This must be stopped. The government needs to get their people under control.
Prediction:
I think that this is going to get worse. Until they figure out the main reason why they are creating these attacks, it is just going to get worse. Once they figure out the reason the attacks should slowly but surely go down.

This article is mainly about a boy ran away from home after his father took away his Xbox. He was really addicted to it that he wouldn't pay attention to anything else. He left home Oct. 13 after the fight with his father. Microsoft Canada joined to help find the boy for a reward. They literally don't know anything about it and want to help as much as possible.
I think this is a serious problem because there re mnay teens getting addicted to the games. It is very interesting because we can see the extreme of teens and what could happen to them on matters like this. I think the game systems should think of this event as somehting that could happen to them.
I predict that they might find the boy and put sense into him. Xbox might try to change things so hthings like this could happen to him. Play systems should work hard in trying to prevent things like this.

Summary:
This article discussed the issue behind the republican voters that were greatly disappointed when president-elect Barrack Obama won the electoral votes on Tuesday. As senator John McCain gave his congratulating speech on his rival many of his supporters booed at his statement, “…And I pledge to him tonight to do all in my power to help him lead us through the many challenges we face.” The unfavorable outcomes for the McCain supporters were lead to find peace in anti-Obama Internet sites to relieve their anger. What the senator did was similar to what was done by Sen. Clinton. He asked his fellow supporters to join president-elect Obama in his leadership. To achieve this “A tone that would allow the American people to come together…” needs to enter the hearts of all Americans as said by democratic strategist, Donna Brazile.
Analysis:
I believe that the republican voters are surprised by the outcome because the presidency was switched over to the democratic side. They were so sure another republican candidate was sure to be elected. What they hadn’t realized was the mistakes President Bush had made to lose the trust of many Americans.
Prediction:
I believe it will take a vast amount of time for McCain supporters to transfer their trust to Barack Obama. If Obama does succeed with his plans for a better future then they will see his contribution and maybe support his cause.

This aricle talks about how indigenous people are being treated diffrently just because of their lack of knowledge. It also tells how their are 370 million indigenous people in over seventy countries. It also includes how indigenous people are being killed or exterminated just for land or their resources.
I think this is wrong and that people should be treated equally just like everyone else. They should not be treated like animals and should not be moved by command. I think this also shows how corrupted parts of our government is and we as a country have not tried to help these people learn.
I think in the future this will be a problem because eventually indigenous people will rise up against corrupted people and stop harvesting imported food that our country needs.

Summary
In Afaghan, 40 or so civilians were killed by US military soldiers while chasing down insurgents. Civilians reported that the soldiers attacked a wedding party and killed the people. Also, an air raid ended in the death of 40 people and 28 wounded.
Analysis
I think that this was an accident because even though we hear about it all the time that there are rapes or other things, none have been on such a large scale and so it probably was an accident.
Prediction
I am pretty sure that US will apologize for the deaths and maybe even grieve for it, but it will all be forgotten soon.

Summary: The war in Afganistan is getting worse. Obama is going to help pay more attention to the war in Afganistan. Obama thinks that troops have been "drained" from the war. He saya that we need to win the war. He has sent atleast 2 more brigades of troops to reinforce 70,000 U.S. and NATO forces already serving. He also thinks that the NATO should contribute more forces. Obama wants to get rid of terrorist.
Analysis: I think that Obama is doing the right thing and that we should win the war. Also, it is a good thing that he is going to put more troops in Afganistan because it will help the war come to an end sooner.
Prediction: I think that Obama is going to stop the war, however it is going to take a while. Also, it may not be finished buy the time he is out of the White House, but atleast he will make it easier to win and get the troops home then it is now.

Summary: This article is about how the world reacted to Obama’s win yesterday. Many people from all over the world are celebrating his victory. Also many presidents and leaders are congratulating him and saying that his victory and his propositions might help the world. People are also happy because his victory showed that African-Americans can succeed.
Analysis: These reactions might be caused because of all the positive prepositions Obama made through the elections. The leaders from the other countries think that his win will help the world since the US is the most powerful country right now and this will fix many problems.
Prediction: I think that Obama’s win will help the international issues in the present and hopefully in the future. He promised a lot of things and with the help of the Senate and House of Representatives I think he will achieve his goals for this country. He might also help the issues America has with other countries and more important stop the war with Iran.

summary- On October 28 an action was held in Namibia, South Africa in which 47 tons of ivory were sold to China and Japan. However, four of those tons were later withdrawn because they did not meet the international standards. What to do with these four tons is still undecided. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora feels that this is dangerous because the African elephent is an endangered species and so they might decide to sell the withdrawn ivory locally.
Analysis- i found this article to be very fascinating because most world articles that i find are about wars between countries but this one was about a war between man and animal. this article also made me sad because i think that humans have already done so much to hurt the enviroment that making another species go extinct would be a real tragidy.
Prediction- i predict that if something isnt done as far as supervising international trade in endangered species, that there will soon be no more African elephants. and this would be bad because the elimination of any animal from an enviroment causes major disruptions to the whole ecosystem.

Eye's Only: Obama's spy breifing
These articles are about the President's Daily Breifing. It talks about how it used to be like a tabloid magizine with big exciting headlines. Now it looks more professional. The article gives out some information about what was on some of the Presidential Daily Breifing. Also, it states that Barak Obama will now be getting P.D.B.
I think that P.D.B. is very interesting. I think it a great idea, however I am very disappionted that President Bush did not pay attion to the August 6,2001 headline: "Bin Ladin determined to strike in the US". It reads: "FBI information indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks." When I read this in the aritcle I was mad. President Bush whould have got more security in the airports. I am very, very mad.
I expect that Barak Obama will pay atttention the the P.D.B. I think this is part of global issues because we might kniw where Bin Laden is, might know what Russia is thinking, and might know what Iran are really up to with their nuclear program.

Summary: In Gaza City, Israel launched an airstrike on November 5 after Hamas troops fired cannons toward Israel. Unfortunately, six Palestinians were killed in the process. The battle was due to a recent discovery of a tunnel in Gaza that was said to be used in an upcoming stategy to capture Israeli soldiers. In an attempt to destroy the tunnel, the battle began.
Analysis: Like I mentioned, unfortunately six people were killed in this on going problem. It wasn't wrong that Israel made such a risky move with the tunnel problem, however they didn't know if that was really the purpose of the tunnel. They should have tried talking first because words are more powerful that weapons.
Prediction: This problem will not be solved by war or by time. I think that if we don't make an attempt to help stop the Israel- Palestine issue we are just going to keep hearing about these "small" problems. We need to end the cycle of treaties and then the rupture of it by making one that binds them to their word.

The sacrifice that Lieutenant Colonel Zehmid Mehmood and Captain Inam-ur-Rahman gave for their country was one of great magnitude and honor. Mehmood lost his leg when he was severely shot at, but his family, especially his wife, were extremely proud of him for his courageous sacrifice for his country, Pakistan. Rehman had been severely wounded, but he was glad that he could give honor to his country. Pakistan’s operation, called Sherdil or Brave Heart, is being carried out to stop the militants that have invaded in to Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). This operation began in August of 2008 and is expected to last for up to two months, but the government feels that this operation is working very well, and the insurgents are afraid of the Pakistani militia. If this operation continues as it is, the radicals will soon be punished for their crimes, or they will be killed in battle.
I think that it is great how Pakistan is trying to end the surge of the militants in their country. Although many countries thought that Pakistan was not contributing to the fight against terrorists, this operation has proved them wrong. I’m grateful that Pakistan is changing their image and showing the world that they do not support militants.
I think that although this conflict will be soon resolved, the worldwide issue will need to be worked for a long time to come.. This operation may end in two months, but we still need to create more programs like this throughout the world. If we do, we could get rid of all the radicals in the world.

The article is about the election taht just happened a few days ago, with Obama and Mcain. Obama won, taking most of the electoral votes and even the popular votes. Obama even suprised a lot of people when you took some states that he wasn't supposed to win, states like Pennsylavania, then Ohio, and even Virginia, a state that hasn't voted for a Democratic canditate. I think Obama winning the election is kinda too much overrated. I mean, i think he's too young, and he will end the war early, which isn't a good idea because then there will be mroe terrorism, according to me atleast. But I think this election did affect the world. The world will change now that Obama is president. Maybe there won't be more terrorism in the world if the war ends early, maybe it will bring peace. America was once a dominant country, with people from all over the world coming to live a better life in a foriegn nation, with different beliefs, and views. And maybe with Obama, in the long run, will change that, even though i think he's going to mess us up. I hope that I'm wrong, so America can be at the number one spot, the spot only and reserved for the United States.

Summary:
President Ma Ying-jeou and Chen Yunlin had a meeting to keep protesters off-balance. Hundreds of police were deployed near barricades layered with barbed wire, but a few demnstrators still managed to get in the site in time.
Chen signed a long-anticipated deal that will allow direct passenger and cargo flights and ocean shipping service across the 100-mile strait. Previously the services have been forced to pass through third-party air or ocean territory, adding time and expense.
My Opinion:
I think that it was a good idea that Chen signed the long-anticipated deal for shipping service and passengers. And hopefully passengers are separated from the cargo flights and ocean shipping services.
My Prediction:
I think the contract that Chen signed will be helpful in the future because it is a good to have transportation for shipping service and passengers across the 100-mile strait.

This article is about rebels in the Congo going from door to door killing people. The UN peacekeepers were unable to protect them. At least 20 were killed and 33 wounded. The people in the Congo agree that the UN shouldn't leave the Congolese defensless to slaughter. The rebels merely walked up to their door, knocked, and blew up whom ever had the misfortune to open the door.
I think this is extremely terrible, and it makes me afraid to open my door. These people have done nothing to deserve this. I'm not completely sure that the UN is completely at fault, but honestly they could have done a bit better job on protecting them. They were left completely defenceless.

This article is about how Iran's president congratulated Barrack Obama on his presedential election. He also hinted that when Obama is in office, he should change the war policy in the middle east.
I believe that Iran thinks Obama is weak and could convince him. They probably think that since he believes in the Islamic faith, he should stop all U.S. military "persecutions" against him.

For thirty years, our diplomatic ties with Iran have been severed because of an incident where Iranian extremists took American diplomats hostage. However, a very extraordinary event happened after President-Elect Barack Obama was chosen as president of the United States. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran sent a letter congratulating President-elect Obama. “I congratulate you for attracting the majority of votes in the election,” Mr. Ahmadinejad wrote in his message. President Ahmadinejad has written letters in the past to the U.S government, but none congratulating the U.S elect since the Iranian Revolution.
i believe that this positive reaction from the Iranian president is the spark of a new and improved relationship between the U.S and Iran. This shows that President Ahmadinejad was trying to act the bigger person by being mature and i hope that now being that we have chosen a contemporary leader, our country will start to negotiate and build strong diplomatic ties with nations that are not so close with us and make the ties that we already have stronger.
In the future, i believe that this decision made by the Iranian president will pay off and with the U.S under new control, i believe that the middle east and the U.S has a strong future. This is a huge step in trying to make peace in the world, and a great kick off for President-elect Obama.

Comment Number One
I commend Lizabeth on her article-summary, but I'm going have to say that sometimes actions are stronger than words.
Comment Number Two
I congratulate Allison on an article summary. I agree that if the U.N. is leaving Congo unprotected, than there will be massive chaos.

Summary: This article explains about proposition 4. With such interest in prop 8, prop 4 hasnt been discussed as much. Proposition 4 states that a female under the age of 18 is permitted to have a parent consent if getting an abortion. This article also explains that the facts going around aboutthe 15 year old girl who was killed when given an abortion without parent consent as false. Her name was different, she was from a different state and she was in a common law marriage. This also discusses the amount of child predators that are arrested.
Analysis: I believe prop 4 should not be passed. Many people discuss their position as yes based on their religion. The was i see it, is that although my religion may not allow it, i dont believe that i am in the position or have the authority to tell a teenager who is going through tough times as it is, that she can not have an abortion without her parents knowing. I do believe this prop should be discussed more to the public.
Prediction: Although i have heard many opinions for both yes and n0, i do believe that it will not pass. However, it doesnt seem that most of the public understands this prop completely. Please leave some comments on your opinion on this prop =]

Remeny - I really liked your interpretation of the article. I agree with your views and think you did an excellent job at interpreting the information.
Allison- Your analysis was well thought out and I agree with your statements. I think it is atrocious that such acts are taking place in the Congo.

Summary: In this article i learned that the violence in conga is worsening and has become a terrible problem. i learned that most of the fighting is taking place mostly in eastern Conga. In the last eight weeks more than civilians have been killed and more than have been seriously wounded.
Analysis: i feel that people need to stop the violence. Just becuase people have a different view of things they are being seriously injured and in most cases are being killed. It is sad to thing that alot of these people cant have their own opinions.
Prediction: i predict that as long as this place continues to think like it does the violence wont be stopped and poeple will continue to be killed and hurt.

I totally agree with you that this prop should not be passed, because many kids don't have a good relationship with their parents, and telling them that they are pregnant and want an abortion would just make things worst. Great jo on your prediction!

Comment on Taylor O:
I agree completely on the violence issue, but consider this: why would a country, especially one with high government power, want to just up and change their ways?
Comment on Allison W:
I love your stand on that! Controversial stands are often the most interesting and hard to defend. Do you think you could defend your stand against the UN?

this story took place on tuesday, in Harae, Zimbabwe. during a demonstration to replace the current government of zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, people were beaten with batons to dicourage the protesters.
i find this fact appauling. if a country is not satisfied with its government, it is the governments job to fix it. people should be proud of the people in charge of them, not hate them enough to protest, all the while having the fear of being beaten looming over them. it makes sence that Mugabe either doesn't know this is happening, which is not likely as the police were involved, or he is trying to rule by fear instead of respect and honor. the problem with this method is that eventually, after enough years of this, people will stop being afraid. essentially, this will come back to bite him in the nose.
I think the best solution would be for the president to change his ways or step down. a vote is a bad idea, because they can be rigged so easily or people could be bribed or threatened to vote injustly. if the president were able to step down, or promise a fair fight, things like this would not happen in zimbabwe as often as they do. they need a new president, one who doesn't hurt people for protesting and doesn't put his country farther and farther into poverty every day so he can make more money.

This article is about a suicide attack killing 3 people in Pakistan. The attack also injured at least 9 other people. The bomber blew himself up at a government based meeting, which over 10,000 people attended. Provincial government officials, including ministers for information, sports, and health were inside the stadium.
My opinion on this event is that suicide bombings should stop, despite the fact that they are rising in Pakistan. Many suicide bombings end in many deaths, and Pakistan officials should make an effort to stop this.
I think that many more suicide bombings and attacks will happen in the near future. As long as there are rebels against government, these type of events will occur. Pakistani government officials should try to reduce these attacks.

In Washington, the prime minister of Japan Taro Aso declared and idea to stop the global financial crisis. The idea includes offering to boost the IMF's firepower and calling more sophisticated supervision of credit rating agencies. The policy was released and Tokyo's Prime Minister says that they support the dollar-based currency system. Japan is willing got lend one hundred billion to the international Monetary Fund to help stop the economic problem.
I think that it's good to help Tokyo on their ideas to solve the economic problem. The whole world is in a crisis and someone needs to stop it. If Tokyo's plan works and helps us get out then that would be good. I think that United States would try to support Tokyo on their policy because of the bad economic condition we are currently in.

This article is about how Osama bin Laden has been deserted from al Qaeda. It also talks about how Osama bin Laden is spending much of his energy by looking for ways to surivive.
CIA Director Michael Hayden announced on Thursday that the CIA believes bin Laden is deserted by al Qaeda. The CIA also believes that bin Laden is struggling to survive each day that he lives. Though al Qaeda is still at large with or without bin Laden, the CIA believes with the capturement of bin Laden, al Qaeda could then be taken down.
I agree with the CIA that if we capture bin Laden, al Qaeda could then be located and finally captured. But then I have doubts. In the past couple of years, the CIA has recieved news that bin Laden is dead, or has had major medical concerns. All i'm worried about is that we capture bin Laden to then get al Qaeda

This describes the fires recently in California. There have been three fires and it has burned 10,475 acres and more than 160 homes were destroyed in Orange County. Authorities stated that one of the fires were "human caused"
Whenever I walked outside I smelled smoke and I when I was in the freeway I saw the fire. This fire had a huge impact on Southern California and I think the humans need to be more careful around the environment.

Comment on Sryavia:
You have a great analysis, citation, and prediction. I agree with you that North Korea will not be involved with terrorism because of the trouble it caused to North Korea
Comment on Matthew T:
I thought the article was funny because they killed a boar during celebration. I think that Kenya and the US might have a better relationship now that Barack Obama has become President
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/11/12/AR2008111200918.html
Summary:
This article is about North Korea and how it would not let international nuclear inspectors samples from its plant that makes arms grade plutonium. This is a that could hamper international disarmament issues. The U.S. states that it had purchased 50,000 tonnes of heavy fuel oil to be shipped to N.K. N.K has agrees to resume disabling its Soviet-era Yongbyon nuclear plant that makes plutonium and that it will allow inspectors to establish claims it made about its atomic arms program after the US removed it from terrorists. On October 11 the "U.S. fact sheet on the understandings does not state that samples may be removed from the country. Rather, it says the two sides agreed 'on the use of scientific procedures, including sampling and forensic activities.'"
Analysis:
I can see that disarming is a lot harder than everyone thought. Everyone can say that they are disarming their bombs and nuclear weapons but you never know if they are telling the truth. Especially when the countries do not agree to let investigators in their land, like North Korea.
Prediction:
I think that eventually everyone will take their word. Wither that or everyone will not trust each other and every country will be paranoid with each other. Some say that they need it for protection from other bigger countries with bombs too.
